In early January, 2008, over 600 participants from the Newport News Public Schools in Virginia attended an international conference at Christopher Newport University to examine 21st Century schooling: teaching, learning, and leading our students into a global economy. Speakers from England, China, the US, and Tasmania participated both virtually and in person.
